Goober & Miscommunication

In Environment Economics class today, Mr Song (I must admit, the cutest guy lecturer ever - in terms of size and the way he talks!) brought a new "Goober" (or some may call it as Smucker) today!
He was telling us about different types of company legal statuses, and he gave an example of Private Limited Company which is Smucker owned by only family members. Most of us may know what's Goober but not Smucker Lol. So we were a little confused that time. Then he said he'll buy one jar for us and try in the class! Today, I didn't remember we were supposed to bring our own spoon. He expected no one will bring, he brought his own spoon for spreading and also a packet of cream crackers for us to eat with! So nice of him! I was the first to "try" it! Haha (as if i never try before). Before he passed to me, I saw the jar and I went like "OHHHHHH!"... then he joked "Oh!? okay no need to give edi...*put back into his "Go Green" bag* " lol! The whole class were soo excited and i just burst their bubble. lol. Luckily he was just kidding, then the whole class passed the jar around during his lecture. We were happy :)

Today, we learnt about Hierarchies in different types of companies. Narrowed it down to miscommunication, we had some activities in class which made us really awake and he showed us this.

*****
The Boss of a company initiates a mail to invite his staff to witness an Eclipse and how his message is passed by employees at different levels in the hierarchy and finally how it reaches to the staff.

Mail from CEO to Manager :
Today at 11 o’clock there will be a total eclipse of the sun. This is when the sun disappears behind the moon for two minutes. As this is something that cannot be seen every day, time will be allowed for employees to view the eclipse in the parking lot. Staff should meet in the lot at ten to eleven, when I will deliver a short speech introducing the eclipse, and giving some background information. Safety goggles will be made available at a small cost.

Mail from Manager to Department Head :
Today at ten to eleven, all staff should meet in the car park. This will be followed by a total eclipse of the sun, which will appear for two minutes. For a moderate cost, this will be made safe with goggles. The CEO will deliver a short speech beforehand to give us all some information. This not something that can be seen everyday.

Mail from Dept. Head to Floor Manager :
The CEO will today deliver a short speech to make the sun disappear for two minutes in the form of an eclipse. This is something that cannot be seen every day, so staff will meet in the car park at ten or eleven. This will be safe, if you pay a moderate cost.

Mail from Floor Manager to Supervisor :
Ten or eleven staff are to go to the car park, where the CEO will eclipse the sun for two minutes. This doesn’t happen every day. It will be safe, and as usual it will cost you.

Mail from Supervisor to Staff :
Some staff will go to the car park today to see the CEO disappear. It is a pity, this doesn’t happen everyday.

Back again :)

So I haven't been blogging for a long time. Its just weird that suddenly I have the urge to write something here. I have so much stuffs to list in here but I think I shall be a bit more straight-to-the-point. lol.

I had 2 months of semester break and I had so much fun hanging out with friends and family back in KK. Now, back to reality. Assignments, morning classes, lectures and if possible, club activities! I've joined Social Board and I'm the secretary for Orientation Night. It sounds fun but I have to be really prepared for piling up work! Oh well, just wanna gain some experience and contribute something. Close friends should know that I'm a person who cannot not contribute anything in college. lol. But this time I'm trying to control and prevent myself from committing into too many events. Extreme prior to study! :)

I had the best time with the Nottingham clan last weekend. We traveled to places around KL. We started with Dim Sum at Cheras (the place where nostalgia kicked in because I remember going there when I was little kid with my big Wong family. sigh. i miss all of them now)

I'm having 5 subjects in this sem. Finals' on April. Late April. This time, the classes are more to the theory side. No more calculations except Stats class which I find it really fun during computer lab sessions!

I just finished half of Business Law tutorial questions which only due this Friday. And I'm having Skills for Accountants class (Cherish's class) soon. I'll talk more about the subjects I'm taking later cos I don't wanna make this post to be really nerdy. lol.

Before I sign off, I should introduce my new all-time favorite series! Glee! Read about it!

I just can't get the hang of it! I finished 1st Season. I'm waiting for 2nd Season! No twisted dramas, only pure fun and humor! While waiting, I listen to their whole OST! Big thanks to Eugene! :)

Gotta go!
